Maria Cheung, nesta exposição "Fósseis de Mim", busca a superação e mergulha para uma nova etapa de auto-conhecimento.

Plástica e apaixonadamente se derrama pelo chão, em seus caminhos de pedra e literalmente, sobe pelas paredes com seus pés.

Nessa busca de si mesma, ela viaja e tece conexões entre passado, presente e futuro unindo-os numa mesma linha condutora, onde deposita fortes imagens de costumes, lembranças e objetos pessoais, que guardam momentos vividos dentro de si e se projetam além do seu tempo.

Cheung é incrível na preparação de suas exposições: por detrás de sua aparência delicada surge, então, alguém com uma grande força física e determinação cuja capacidade de trabalho é enorme.

E realiza.
Em momentos como esses, não se sabe se é a sua Arte que entra em harmonia com o Universo ou se é o Universo que conspira a seu favor.

Vale conhecer a obra, percorrer esse caminho junto com Maria Cheung, do chão às paredes e, quem sabe, subir ao céu de encantamento.

Maria Cheung, in this exhibition ``Fossil of Me´´, tries to overcome and immerse to a new stage of self understanding.

Plastic and in love spread over the floor, in the paths of stones and, literally, climb the walls with her feet.

Searching for herself, she travels and weave connections among past, present and future binding them in the same conduct line, where strong images of costumes are deposited, memories and personal belongings, that keep live moments inside herself and project themselves beyond their time.

Cheung is incredible in preparation of her exhibitions: behind her fine appearance, appears someone with her a great physical strength and determination which her work capability is huge. And she makes it happen.

In times like this we don’t know if it is her Art that connects to the Universe with harmony or if it is the Universe that is in favor.

It is worth seeing her work, to go through this path along with Maria Cheung, from bottom to the walls and, who knows, go up to the sky, by being enchanted.
